Emir Bawa’s Death Won’t Be Swept Under The Carpet -Tinubu
President Bola Tinubu has said that the tragic circumstances leading to the death of Alhaji Isa Bawa, the District Head of Gatawa, Sabon Birni Local Government Area, Sokoto State will not be swept under the carpet.

In a statement by his spokesman, Ajuri Ngelale, on Wednesday, the President described the attack on Bawa as deeply disturbing and a heinous act that would not go without a decisive response.
Condemning the action leading to the death, Tinubu extended his condolences to the bereaved family, the Gobir Emirate, and the Sokoto State Government.
He prayed for the repose of the soul of the traditional ruler and comfort to his family at this difficult time.
