Jubril Idris, the Chief Press Secretary to Akinloye reeled out the chairman’s achievements, stating,
“The chairman’s commitment to education extended beyond infrastructure, as my administration has initiated educational infrastructure by providing a standard new block of six classrooms at UPE Primary School, Ajegbende.
“He has also distributed written materials to all 18 public primary schools in the local government. This initiative aimed to ensure that students have access to essential learning resources, fostering a conducive environment for education.
Moreover, he noted that the Chairman has demonstrated his dedication to empowering the youth through scholarships, offering financial support to deserving students.
Recognizing the importance of quality teaching, he facilitated the employment of 60 non-pensionable teachers in public primary schools across the local government.
His spokesperson this move is not only to addressed the need for qualified educators but also contributed to job creation within the community.
Idris revealed the chairman’s understanding nature of the many challenges of students and has provided succor to them, he said,
“The chairman understands the financial challenges faced by many students, and has taken a commendable step by providing free JAMB forms for students. This initiative is meant to open doors for higher education opportunities, breaking down financial barriers and empowering the youth to pursue their academic dreams.”
