The Speaker of Delta House of Assembly, Chief Sheriff Oborevwori, on Friday, urged Christians to emulate the virtues of Jesus Christ.
The speaker said this in a Christmas message issued by his Chief Press Secretary, Mr Dennis Otu, made available to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Asaba.

“I greet the peace-loving people of Delta in this season of joy on the birth of Jesus Christ.
“Let us continue to believe that this yuletide will usher in good tidings, as the 2020 has remained largely challenging,” he said.
“In the spirit of yuletide, let us give a helping hand to one another in the best way that we can.
“We should share the joy and love of the birth of Jesus Christ, the Saviour of mankind.
“We cannot run away from peaceful co-existence and, therefore, we should show love at all times, tolerate one another and be prepared always to make sacrifices for mankind,” he said.
Oborevwori urged Nigerians to should be mindful of the second wave of the COVID-19 pandemic.
“We should avoid elaborate celebrations because COVID-19 is real.
”We should endeavour to shun drinking and driving under the guise of celebrating Christmas in order to reduce road mishaps and perhaps, fatalities,” he said.
