There are strong indications that, for the first time in a decade, one of the most anticipated December events in Lagos State – The Greater Lagos Fiesta – might not hold this year.
The fiesta, which undoubtedly provides a boost for the tourism and entertainment industry in the state, is one of the most attended events of the Yuletide season by fun-seekers.
Eko Hot Blog gathers that the decision to halt preparations for the event is informed by the recent carnage that ensued in the aftermath of the #EndSARS demonstrations across the country during which Lagos was badly affected.
