News reaching us is that the Nigerian Army has confirmed the arrest of the the soldier who recorded a video pleading with his colleagues not to shoot at #EndSARS protesters
The soldier now identified as Lance Corporal Harrison Friday, wore a hood in a video he recorded in which he pleaded with his colleagues not to shoot at end SARS protesters even if they were sent to do so.
He further stated in the video and pointed out that family members may be part of the #EndSARS protesters, so opening fire on them may backfire.
Nigerian Army confirmed the arrest Corporal Harrison via its Twitter handle this morning October 21, the Nigerian Army says Harrison carried out ‘cybercrime’ and that he has now been arrested.
According to them, Harrison betrayed the force by carrying out a cybercrime against the Nigerian Army.
