#EndSARS Protest: Lagos CP Visits Affected Areas

– Lagos State Commissioner of Police visits areas damaged by hoodlums within the state. 

– CP Sets up an investigative panel to make findings over destroyed areas.

– Commissioner urge youths and other residents to stay in peace to make the state better.

Lagos State Commissioner of Police, CP Hakeem Odumosu, has visited affected areas destroyed by hoodlums under the cover of #EndSARS protests.

The State Police Public Relations Officer, SP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, made this known through a press statement.

He added that the CP immediately instituted investigation pannel into most cases, assuring that the command will leave no stone unturned to restore sanity, peace, and public safety to the state.

Recall that some areas which include public and private facilities in the state were set ablaze and damaged.

The areas visited by the CP included the palace of Oba of Lagos, the Federal High Court and the Appeal Court at Igbosere, the head office of the Nigerian Ports Authority, the Lagos State Forensic Laboratory, and Pen Cinema Police Station.

He was said to have also visited Fagba Area of Lagos where some Hausa and Yoruba youths engaged in attacks resulting in the destruction of properties.

The Police Chief was accompanied by the Area Commander, Area G, ACP Ibrahim Zungura, Commander PMF 2, Lagos, ACP Waheed Ayilara, CSP Mohammed Odunlami and some other officers.
