Nigerian singer Runtown has volunteered to lead #Endsars protest against police brutality and harassment on October 8.
The popular singer announced this on his official Twitter page, following the ongoing public outrage against Special Anti-Robbery Squad.
He called on Nigerians to take action by joining in the protest against the incessant humiliation and brutality melted on youths in the country.
According to Runtown, empty promises won’t work anymore, as he calls on fellow Nigerians to come out by 10am to Lekki Phase 1 toll gate to engage in a peaceful protest.
He wrote, “This has gone long enough and now we MUST take action! I’ll be leading a protest to #ENDSARS on Thursday, October 8th 2020.
