#EndSARS: Tinubu Finally Speaks On Alleged Foreign Trips, Lekki Massacre

All Progressives Congress national leader, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has made his first public appearance after the shooting of peaceful #EndSARS protesters at the Lekki toll-gate in Lagos.

Tinubu, during a visit to Lagos state governor on Saturday, debunks reports that he snuck out of the country to France on night of the massacre.

He said he was in Lagos all through the mayhem and unrest that enveloped the state and many parts of the country amid the outrage and pandemonium that characterised the aftermath of the massacre.

A reporter had asked him “we were told you in London, you were in France, when did you return?”

” I didn’t go nowhere, I am a Lagosian, and then I still hold the title of Asiwaju of Lagos and I am still a Jagaban” Tinubu replied.

“Whatever they think, fake news is all over the place, they said Seyi my son was kidnapped and chased out in London but he is here.”

The former Lagos state governor also denied having a hand in the alleged killing of the unarmed protesters at Lekki tollgate.

Fifteen people were alleged killed when soldiers fired live rounds at the protesters on Tuesday evening.

Tinubu refuted claims of his prior knowledge of the carnage, calling on the authorities to investigate the killing of the unarmed protesters.

Assets and businesses linked to Tinubu were subsequently attacked and devastated by suspected hoodlums.
