#EndSARS: United Nation Decries Attack On Assets In Calabar
The United Nations on Sunday disclosed that its property in Calabar, Cross River capital, have been vandalised.
UN resident and humanitarian coordinator in Nigeria, Edward Kallon, made the disclosure via Twitter.
The global organisation condemned the attack, saying the vandals seek to taint the peaceful protests to end police brutality.
Kallon implored the youth to embrace dialogue with the government in actualising their demands rather than resorting to violence.
“The United Nations in Nigeria strongly condemns attacks on its assets in Calabar by vandals who were out to discredit the peaceful protests to end police brutality. I call on youths to exercise restraints and engage in dialogue with the Government on their legitimate demands,” he tweeted.
