-
Falz and Mr Macaroni are currently leading the #EndSARSMemorial Protest at the Lekki toll gate.
EKOHOTBLOG reports that popular comedian, Mr Macaroni, and famous Nigerian singer, Falz, on Wednesday, led the car procession at the #EndSARSMemorial protest at Lekki tollgate in Lagos State.
The popular entertainers showed up at the procession weaving Nigerian flags and shouting #ENDSARS.
The protest at the toll gate, which was the epicentre of the nationwide protests in 2020, took place on Wednesday despite a ban on public gathering and heavy security presence in Lagos State.
Mr Macaroni, who was in a Lexus SUV, told reporters that Nigeria must listen to the demands of youths and embrace good governance.
Falz, who also drove himself, said Nigerians must learn to stand up for their rights.

The #EndSARSMemorial protest took place on Wednesday to commemorate the first anniversary of last year’s bloody #EndSARS nationwide protests.
EKOHOTBLOG recalls that Lagos became the epicentre of the #EndSARS protests when, on October 20, 2020, soldiers from Bonny Camp, 81 Division, fired live bullets at protesters at the Lekki Toll Gate and the alleged killings that reportedly attended the shooting led to a global outrage that rattled both the state and federal governments.
The actual number of fatalities at the shooting scene is yet to be established despite multiple testimonies at the judicial panel set up by the state government to unravel the remote and immediate causes of the mayhem and compensate identifiable victims of police brutality.
