English Refree, Mike Dean Notifies Police Over Death Threats To Family

Premier league referee Mike Dean, and his family receives number of threats, including death threats and abusive messages.
Last Tuesday, Mike received heavy criticisms for sending off Southampton defender Jan Bedardi and West Ham midfielder Tomas Sourcek on Saturday.
Bednarek’s dismissal was overturned on appeal, while Soucek’s red card was rescinded on Monday.
In both Bednarek and Soucek dismissal, Dean was asked by VAR to check incidents on the pitchside monitors which he has not initially done so.
Mark Dean is used to criticisms but feels a line has been crossed by involving his family. He has notified the police about the issue, EKO HOT BLOG gathered.
In all this, Mike Dean is available to officiate Manchester United’s FA Cup fifth round on Tuesday.
