Enugu North Senate Race: LP Candidate Topples Gov Ugwuanyi In Upset Victory

  • The LP candidate is Okechukwu Ezea

Eko Hot Blog reports that Enugu State governor, Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, has lost his senatorial ambition to the candidate of the Labour Party, Okechukwu Ezea.

Ugwuanyi, who is currently completing his second tenure as the governor of Enugu State had represented Udenu/Igbo-Eze North Federal Constituency at the House of Representatives for three terms of 12 years.

This result was announced  Sunday evening by the Independent National Electoral Commission.
