Epe APC leader, Alhaji Akanni Seriki (Bamu)

Eko Hot Blog reports that all arrangements are at the advanced stage for the celebration of the 85th birthday of the APC Epe divisional leader, Alhaji Shakirudeen Akanni Seriki (Bamu) on Saturday, May 25th, 2024.
The APC leader is turning 85 on Monday, May 20, 2024.
The celebrant, who is a member of the Lagos State Governance Advisory Council (GAC), the Lagos APC’s highest decision-making body, disclosed his plans for a grand celebration during an interview at his Lagos residence.
Alhaji Bamu, who is thankful for God’s mercies in his life despite many ups and downs, said the birthday ceremony will be a memorable one.
“All glory and adoration belong to Almighty Allah for His Mercies in my life,” he said.
“It is true that whoever wants to attain greater heights in life, he must have a story to tell. I have experienced many sad moments and sufferings in life but all are ending in success.
“No matter the difficulties one faces, there must be joy at the end.”

Although the political leader’s main birthday celebration will hold on Saturday, May 25, 2024, at the Epe Jubilee Chalet, there will be a special prayer at the celebrant’s Epe residence on Friday, May 24, 2024.
In the past, Alhaji Bamu has been celebrated as a political mentor to many leaders in Epe, Lagos, and beyond.
Last year, the Lagos State Executive Council described the APC chieftain as “one of the brainboxes” of the ruling party in the state.
The council further described the celebrant as a “mentor and leader worthy of celebration and emulation.”
Similarly, Senator Tokunbo Abiru, the senator for Lagos East, has hailed Alhaji Bamu for having made “remarkable impact in our community.”
Likewise, Wale Raji, a member of the House of Representatives for Epe Federal Constituency, has described the APC leader in Epe Division as a “father figure” to young politicians in the area.
