Lagos state emergency management agency (LASEMA) says it has recovered three bodies and a six tyre Volvo truck from the Epe river.
EkoHotBlog had reported how a Volvo truck collided with a Dangote truck and consequently plunged into the Epe river from impact of the collision.
LASEMA swung into action immediately but despite conscious and concerted effort the body could not be retrieved till about 1p.m today.
Giving details of the search and recovery operation, LASEMA said three adult males were recovered from the six tyre Truck loaded with Sand, that plunged into the river.
It, however, said the number of passengers on board the truck cannot be ascertained.
The Search and Recovery operation being conducted since the incident occurred yesterday by combined LASEMA Response Team, its Marine Rescue Unit, the FRSC, the Nigeria Police Force and Local Divers, has now come to end.
