“The whole essence of of these is first to preach the Gospel of Christ and to bring/reconcile people to Christ. Also we want to make sure that the Christian community has a stake in every area that life exists in the community, we are a body of Peace and it’s our duty to effect in any problem as it affects our community”.
He regretted the exclusion of the Christian Association in major community activities such as empowerment platforms, employment opportunities, and political participation.
“There was this programme hosted by the NYCN at the Epe local Government Council, it’s just so sad that there was no follow up nor communication with the Christian Association, all of the invited Guest , Executive and even 90% of their members happens to be Muslims.
We don’t want any Religion bias as far as CAN is concern, we want our impact to be felt and we want to make sure we have a stake in the Community”.
Taiwo further called on all government parastatals, private organizations and the NYCN to promote love, togetherness and inclusion in Epe by shunning all forms of bias or prejudice.
“We’ve got alot of plans for our Youths in this year, but it’s quite unfortunate that the whole lockdown due to the covid19 pandemic ruined most of them, but nonetheless, 2021 sure would be a Great year”.
“I was opportune to meet the Kabiyesi, Lagos East Senator, the Local government Chairman, Artisan Association and of course every Christian and Muslim Leaders just to make sure our Youths are fully involved in every aspect of the community”.
