Ekohotblog reports that the historic Epe Club is gearing up to celebrate its 50th anniversary this weekend with a two-day event that promises to be a landmark occasion in the history of the club and the Epe community.
The golden jubilee celebration will not only highlight the club’s achievements but also honor distinguished individuals whose contributions have significantly impacted the growth of Epe and Lagos State at large.
The festivities will begin on Friday 20th of December, 2024, evening with a cocktail party at 5:00 pm, providing a warm setting for members and guests to share memorable moments.
The main event, an Anniversary Party and Presentation of Awards, will hold on Saturday,21st of December 2024, starting at 1:00 pm.
Prominent awardees include Deputy Governor Hamzat, Former Governor Akinwunmi Ambode, Rt. Hon. Speaker Mudashiru Obasa, Alhaji Bami Seriki, Hon. Abiodun Tobun, and Apase Akanni Seriki, among others.

Speaking about the significance of the event, the President of Epe Club Hon Shabi, remarked,

One of the awardees, Hon. Abiodun Tobun, expressed his gratitude for the recognition. “It is an honor to be acknowledged by such a historic institution as the Epe Club.

The Saturday ceremony will also feature cultural displays, musical performances, and goodwill messages from dignitaries.
