Epe Club sets to mark Golden Jubilee anniversary
In anticipation of its 50th anniversary, Epe Club, a distinguished institution in the Epe Division, hosted a glamorous cocktail and dinner gathering on the eve of the landmark celebration, slated for December 21, 2024.

The cocktail and dinner party, held at the club’s elegant clubhouse, set the tone for the festivities, drawing enthusiastic members who shared in the excitement of this significant milestone.
For half a century, Epe Club has stood as a beacon of progress and community development, contributing to areas such as governance, education, social welfare, and empowerment, while fostering strong partnerships with public and private entities.
The 50th-anniversary celebrations will include a grand ceremony recognizing notable figures, including the Deputy Governor of Lagos State, Dr. Kadri Obafemi Hamzat, former Lagos State Governor Akinwunmi Ambode, and Lagos State House of Assembly Speaker, Rt. Hon. Mudashiru Obasa, among others. These dignitaries will join members in commemorating the club’s remarkable legacy.
Ahead of the main celebration, the club’s women’s wing organized a sophisticated cocktail and dinner soirée to strengthen bonds among members and their spouses. The evening was filled with charm and refinement, creating an atmosphere of joy and unity.
Mrs. Shabi, the club’s First Lady, addressed attendees on behalf of the wives, expressing their unwavering support for their husbands. “You are the head, and we are the neck. Together, we form a strong and harmonious team,” she remarked, encouraging everyone to embrace the festive spirit and celebrate with enthusiasm.
