EpeDecides: Mammoth Crowd Follows Lagos Deputy Governor At Polling Unit

EKO HOT BLOG reports that the Lagos State Deputy Governor,  Dr.Obafemi Hamzat was present at his polling unit in Polling 002 Ward A4 area of Epe when voting commenced.

A mammoth crowd was on ground to welcome Obafemi Hamzat as the deputy governor joined the already present electorate to cast his vote.

The process was dignified by how peaceful and fair the polling ward stood, with the only trouble being the chants of support echoed by the voters for the incumbent Governor of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu who stands for a re-election on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC), with Obafemi Hamzat as his running mate.

Speaking of the general feeling of the elections, the Deputy Governor expressed confidence in the process, and praised INEC’s conduct of the polls.

Dr. Hamzat also thanked the electorate for their support, promising to bring more to the Epe community if the elections are won by the APC.
