The vibrant event kicked off on Saturday, July 27, 2024, with a lively rally from the First Central Mosque Oke Balogun, featuring a procession of participants from different towns, each showcasing their unique outfits and accompanied by their own DJs spinning infectious beats.

The carnival that followed was a display of colors, sounds, and talents, with a series of exciting competitions that showcased the best of the community.
The dancing competition was a major highlight, with participants busting out their best moves and grooves to the delight of the cheering crowd.
The art contest, open to children of all ages, unleashed a torrent of creativity, with young artists producing stunning works of art that were displayed for all to admire.
Other thrilling competitions included a heart-stopping bicycle stunt show, a vocal competition that showcased the community’s talented singers, and a series of fun activities that kept the crowd entertained.
Winners of the various competitions were rewarded with cash prizes at the Marina front, beaming with pride as they accepted their awards.
But the Kayokayo Carnival was more than just a series of competitions – it was a celebration of community, culture, and joy.
The gift-giving ceremony, which closed out the event, saw all participating children receive presents, their faces lighting up with happiness as they hugged their gifts tight.
