Addressing the responsibility of providing palliatives, Animashaun proclaimed, “It is a responsibility and our duty towards the community (Epe).”

She acknowledged the global nature of the economic meltdown and the urgency for a swift response, highlighting the diverse array of palliatives distributed, encompassing health, education, and food essentials.

“We provided health palliatives, educational palliatives, and food palliatives, which are very essential to human lives. It is not just about food alone,” she asserted.

Looking ahead, Animashaun’s vision for her administration extends far beyond mere infrastructure development.

“This administration is not just about having building constructions here and there, and roads,” she stated.

“Good roads are very important for people’s accessibility, but there is something that is very important in human life which are education, health, and food. You know these are very essential.”

Recognizing the sustainability of the palliative initiative, Animashaun pledged to continue providing aid on a regular basis.

“As I said, the last palliative that we did, I told the media that these are something I want to be doing quarterly or monthly,” she shared.

With empathy and wisdom, Animashaun addressed the hardships faced by the community, offering practical advice. “The hardship is a global thing,” she acknowledged.

“I will advise them to cut their coat according to their size.

If they are able to marry just one wife, marry one wife and don’t marry two wives, because that is the problem.

If you know your capability is to buy a Honda, don’t go for a Mercedes Benz. These are the things; don’t go for excesses. We should curb our excesses.

Then there is one thing that I want us to believe: we should believe in God and keep praying for our Governor, our President, and the people up there.”

During this sacred Ramadan period, Animashaun’s message was one of spiritual guidance and renewal.

“I will advise that I think now they are much holier,” she said. “My advice to them is that they should not go back to their old ways. They should turn a new leaf and keep it up.

All the Christians in the world, I wish them the very best, and even in this time, they should believe that God, who has always been there, is still there and will forever be there.”

Addressing the concerns of the beneficiaries regarding the longevity of the palliative initiative, Animashaun offered reassurance, stating, “The beneficiaries have always been asking how long it will last. Well, it will always be there as long as there is a chairman in the local government, our Governor is still there, and we have Mr. President, so it will keep going on and on. And I believe some of our philanthropists in the society will still support. We have our assembly; he will support. Our House of Representatives member will support.”
