Surah Animashaun says Epe LG is nearing the completion of its doctors’ lodge.
Ekohotblog reports that the Chairman of Epe Local Government, Princess Surah Animashaun FHTI, has announced the near completion of a 10-unit Doctors’ Lodge located on Olatunji Ojikutu Street in Papa Epe, Epe, Lagos State.
This infrastructure project, initiated by her administration, aims to enhance local healthcare facilities and address the housing challenges faced by medical professionals amidst rising rental costs.
The project is seen as a major step towards improving healthcare delivery in the region.
During a recent inspection tour of ongoing projects within the council, Princess Animashaun emphasized the significance of the Doctors’ Lodge.
She described it as a pivotal step in prioritizing the welfare of healthcare providers, underscoring the government’s commitment to supporting the professional growth and well-being of its employees.
The local council chairman noted that providing adequate housing for doctors is crucial for retaining skilled healthcare workers in the area.
