Reacting to the incident, a colleague of the late teacher, Mrs. Adebola Owolabi, expressed her grief, saying, “Mr. Adeyeye was more than a teacher; describing him as a mentor who played father figure role to many students. His loss is irreplaceable, and we pray for his family to find strength.” He remarked.

Another resident, Mr. Sola Omisore, called for urgent government intervention to improve road safety in the area. “This is not the first time we’re witnessing such a tragedy on Odolewu road. The government needs to take immediate action to prevent further loss of lives,” he said.
