The Executive Chairman of Epe Local Government, Hon. (Princess) Surah Olayemi Animashun, has expressed deep sorrow over the tragic death of Mr. Adeyeye A.A., a committed Basic Technology teacher at Pobuna Junior Secondary School, Poka, Epe.
It would be recalled that Mr. Adeyeye lost his life in a ghastly motor accident along the Odolewu road.
Ekohotblog scoops from a statement released on Tuesday from Hon. Animashun describing Mr. Adeyeye as a devoted educator whose contributions to the development of education in the community were highly remarkable.

The statement reads “It is with profound sadness that I mourn the loss of Mr. Adeyeye A.A., whose selfless dedication to the teaching profession has left an indelible mark on our community.
His death is not just a loss to his family but to the entire Epe education system,” she said.
The accident, which occurred on the busy Odolewu road, also left several others injured.
The Chairman extended her condolences to the bereaved family and wished the injured a swift recovery.
“I extend my deepest condolences to his family, colleagues, and loved ones during this difficult time. I also pray for the speedy recovery of those injured in this tragic incident. May God grant the family of the deceased the fortitude to bear this immense loss,” Hon. Animashun stated.
Reacting to the incident, a colleague of the late teacher, Mrs. Adebola Owolabi, expressed her grief, saying, “Mr. Adeyeye was more than a teacher; describing him as a mentor who played father figure role to many students. His loss is irreplaceable, and we pray for his family to find strength.” He remarked.
Another resident, Mr. Sola Omisore, called for urgent government intervention to improve road safety in the area. “This is not the first time we’re witnessing such a tragedy on Odolewu road. The government needs to take immediate action to prevent further loss of lives,” he said.
Hon. Animashun urged relevant authorities to implement proactive measures to address the recurring dangers on the Odolewu road.
“Road safety is a shared responsibility, and I call on authorities to ensure the implementation of measures that will prevent such avoidable tragedies in the future,” she added.
