Epe ‘Ready’ To Host APC Mega Rally As Political Elites Urge Residents To Repay Tinubu, Others With Votes

The political class of the APC in Epe are confident of a successful mega rally for their candidates.

The rally, which is expected to be attended by Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, will seek support for the party’s presidential candidate and others.

The APC political officeholders in Epe vowed that the combination of their candidates, if elected, will work tirelessly to promote socio-economic development in the Fish Basket of Nation.
Eko Hot Blog reports that the political elites in Epe Division have urged residents to support and vote for the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, as a reward for benefitting from his “life-changing blueprints.”

The plea comes as the APC in Epe gets set to hold a mega rally in Epe on Wednesday, February 1st, 2023.

The party’s political bigwigs in the division are also seeking the support of voters for Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu and other candidates seeking re-election on the party’s platform.
Alhaji Akanni Seriki (Bamu), the Divisional Leader of the APC and Governor’s Advisory Council (GAC) member, described the choice of the presidential candidate as exceptional based on his scorecards in government and visionary leadership.

Seriki, who looked forward to successfully hosting the mega rally, urged residents and eligible voters across the division, Lagos, and Nigeria as a whole to cast their vote for the APC.
“Visionary leadership is a leadership style that focuses on creating a long-term vision for the masses and inspiring others to work towards achieving that vision. His ability to think big and inspire others to do the same is second to none,” he said.
“Asiwaju is a visionary leader who has been able to articulate a compelling vision of the future and to create a sense of excitement and purpose among the people he leads and that’s evident in the transformation of Lagos in the last two decades.
“We are lucky to have a candidate whose ability to set an ambitious, achievable, realistic, and sustainable long-term goal. He has over the years demonstrated the ability to identify what is truly important and to focus on those things which have greatly impacted the masses. Since Epe Division has benefitted in his life-changing blueprints, everybody must come out to show support and repay him with their votes.”
Honorable Adeyemi Ikuforiji, the speaker emeritus, Lagos State House Of Assembly, said the All Progressive Congress(APC) flag bearer, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu remains the most cerebral and most qualified of all the Presidential candidates.
“It is payback time, and it’s time to pay back Asiwaju for the love he has demonstrated for the Epe community. Our goal in Epe division is to deliver nothing short of One million votes in this election.We have the numbers. We have the structures, and we shall deliver,” Kuforiji concluded.
Also, Senator Adetokunbo Abiru, who represents the Lagos East Senatorial District at the National Assembly, averred that it was important to garner massive support for the candidacy of Tinubu, not only in Epe Division, but across states in the federation.

“Asiwaju is a strategic thinker who has the wherewithal to make informed decisions. He anticipates changes in society and applies strategy accordingly. Through times of uncertainty, he has been able to lead and make difficult decisions when necessary,” Abiru said.
“His capacity to build strong relationships with others irrespective of tribe, religion, or political affiliation has been one of his greatest weapons. To his credit, he has been able to inspire and motivate others to work together towards achieving a common goal while also building trust to create a sense of community among the people. These are evident and verifiable and that’s the more reason Nigerians should consider voting for him.”
The lawmaker representing Epe Federal Constituency at the House of Representatives, Rep. Wale Raji, assured the party leadership of a rousing welcome in Epe.
He opined that Nigeria is no longer a ground for testing leaders without enviable track records of governance, hence the need for the people of Epe Division to troop out in their large numbers to attend the mega rally and also vote all the candidates of the party.
“If elected, the combination of Asiwaju at the center, Governor Sanwo-Olu, and all our candidates will work tirelessly to promote socio-economic development for all members of our communities in the Epe federal constituency.
“This means continual investment in education and job training programs, supporting small businesses and entrepreneurs, and implementing policies that address income inequality and poverty. Together, we can build a stronger and more prosperous community for everyone and this can only be achievable when we vote for all our candidates.”
Meanwhile, the Vice-Chairman of the Lagos East Senatorial District and Deputy Director-General of the Presidential and Governorship Campaign Council, Barrister Olayinka Oladunjoye, urged supporters not to be distracted by the subtle challenges occasioned by some strategic changes in economic policy.

She said, rather, they should focus on delivering the mandate of Tinubu, Sanwo-Olu, and others.
“As the vice-chairman and one of the campaign directors of our political party, I would like to express my appreciation for the outstanding work our governor has done for our state,” he said.
“From improving education and infrastructure to creating jobs and promoting economic growth, our governor has truly made a positive impact on the lives of our citizens. We are proud to support their leadership and look forward to continuing to work with them to build a better future for all.
