Chelsea, fresh off a 6-2 victory over Wolves, dominated the first half. Cole Palmer narrowly missed with a shot, while Dean Henderson made a remarkable save from Noni Madueke.

Nicolas Jackson eventually put Chelsea ahead, finishing a swift counterattack by tapping in Palmer’s cross at the near post.
Palace were fortunate not to be down a man when Will Hughes, already on a yellow card, avoided further sanction for a foul on Palmer.
The Eagles equalized shortly thereafter, with Eze curling a superb strike past Chelsea’s goalkeeper Robert Sanchez.
Sanchez later made a crucial save to deny Daichi Kamada’s powerful shot, keeping the game level. Chelsea had a chance to snatch victory in stoppage time, but Jackson’s attempt on goal was thwarted by Henderson.
The result marked a positive turn for Crystal Palace, who had lost their previous two matches, while Chelsea now have four points from their first three games of the season.
