EPL: Havertz Matches Persie’s Record At Arsenal

Arsenal’s Kai Havertz matched Robin van Persie’s impressive goal-scoring record on Saturday, finding the net against Southampton in the Premier League.

After Southampton took a surprising lead at the Emirates, Havertz equalized in the second half, capitalizing on a misplaced pass by the visitors.

This goal marked a significant milestone, making Havertz the first Arsenal player since Van Persie to score in seven consecutive home games.

Arsenal remains unbeaten in all competitions this season. Mikel Arteta’s team sits third in the standings with 17 points, tied with second-placed Manchester City and just one point behind leaders Liverpool.
