EKO HOT BLOG reports that the Argentine is one of the leading contenders to take over at Old Trafford in the summer, along with Ajax head coach Erik ten Hag, while Chelsea’s Thomas Tuchel has been linked following sanctions imposed on club owner Roman Abramovich.

It feels like Pochettino has been linked with the United job since Jose Mourinho was sacked, and one would think that if he doesn’t get the job now he never will.

Wheeler states in his article that Ajax will not stand in the Dutchman’s way if he is offered the role, which is encouraging to hear following reports that he is “very keen” to talk to United.
