EPL: No Manager at Man United Can Ever Be Comfortable, I Could Be Sacked – Amorim
- United suffered a 2-0 loss to Wolves on Boxing Day, marking their third consecutive defeat.
- Amorim took over from Erik ten Hag during the November international break but has had limited time with his squad.
- Despite extenuating circumstances, including five defeats in the last seven games, Amorim admitted he does not feel secure at Old Trafford.
Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim has stated that his position at the club is under threat following a disappointing run of results.
United’s 2-0 loss to Wolves on Boxing Day marked their third consecutive defeat, extending a troubling streak of five losses in the last seven games.
Amorim, who replaced Erik ten Hag during the November international break, has had limited time to work with his players, having only been in charge for a short period.
Despite these challenges, Amorim admitted that he does not feel safe at the helm, understanding the pressure that comes with managing a club of United’s stature.
“The manager of Manchester United can never, no matter what, be comfortable,” he stated.
“If we don’t win, regardless of the circumstances or whether they pay my buyout or not, I know every manager is in danger. I understand that this is the job.”
