EKO HOT BLOG reports that Manchester United interim boss, Ralf Rangnick, has given some hints on the club’s plans to sign ‘two or three’ strikers in the summer transfer window.
Cristiano Ronaldo has scored his 24th goal of the season for Man United in their 3-0 win over Brentford and is under contract for another year.
Speaking to journalists, Ralf Rangnick said he believes Cristiano Ronaldo could have a role at Manchester United next season under Erik ten Hag.
Ralf Rangnick will hand over the managerial position to Erik ten Hag in the summer and is tasked with bringing the glory days back to Old Trafford.
To achieve this, the Dutchman will bring in a host of fresh faces with defensive midfield said to be a priority.
But Rangnick, who will move into a consultancy role at the Theatre of Dreams, believes new attackers should be the focus.
The German spoke amid growing uncertainty around Cristiano Ronaldo’s future.
“This is a question you need to ask Erik ten Hag,” Rangnick told Sky Sports when asked about Ronaldo’s future.
