EKO HOT BLOG reports that Patrice Evra has taken aim at Jamie Carragher over his comments on Cristiano Ronaldo after Manchester United’s 3-2 win against Arsenal.

The five-time Ballon d’Or winner fired the Red Devils to a comeback victory over the Gunners on Thursday night as the Portugual international recorded his 800th and 801st career goal.
Despite scoring 12 times across all competitions since rejoining United, some have criticised the 36-year-old for his work rate off the ball.
Liverpool legend Carragher recently claimed that Ronaldo is a ‘passenger’ if he doesn’t find the back of the net and said it would be a ‘massive problem’ should he go an extended run of games without scoring.
‘How can a club the size of Manchester United still rely on a guy who’s [nearly] 37? He was unbelievable, his goal record is unbelievable, but if he doesn’t score he is a passenger in the game,’ Carragher told CBS Sports last week.
‘You have to accept that, that’s a fact. But he scores nearly every game so at the moment you can accept it.
‘If Cristiano Ronaldo went four or five games without scoring, that’s a massive problem for Manchester United.’
However, speaking as a pundit on Amazon Prime Sport after United’s win over Arsenal, Evra took the opportunity to slam Carragher.
‘Some players like Jamie Carragher, he had I think 775 games and Cristiano today scored 801 goals and those type of people talk about Cristiano,’ said the ex-Red Devils left-back.
‘I think people have to stay in their lane. Some people just wake up and want to talk about Cristiano.’
