Eko Hot Blog reports that the Chairman of Eredo LCDA, Hon. Ismail Monsuru Akinloye, has handed over a new block of six classrooms and donated educational materials to UPE Primary School, Eredo, Epe Division, Lagos State.
Akinloye handed over the building during a commissioning ceremony on Monday.

Speaking at the event, the Eredo LCDA boss stated that the project commissioning fulfilled promises made to the community during his chairmanship campaign.
He expressed the administration’s unwavering commitment to improving education in the locality.
Akinloye emphasised the crucial role of quality education in shaping the future of the community and the nation at large.
According to him, the newly constructed block of classrooms is a testament to the local government’s dedication to providing accessible and modern learning environments.
The Head Teacher of the UPE Primary School expressed gratitude to the Eredo LCDA for their investment in education.
“This is an answer to the requests we have been making, and it has come to fruition today. God has truly answered our prayers,” he said.
The school administrator emphasised the need for security to safeguard the pupils and school property.
Oba Musiliu Oluwo, the Aladepekun of Odo-Egiri, and the Baale of Ajegbende community, present at the ceremony, also expressed their joy and appreciation to the Akinloye for the improved learning conditions.
The new classrooms are equipped with comfortable desks and benches, along with free exercise books, creating an optimal learning environment for students.
“The commissioning of the new classroom block at UPE Primary School underscores the local government’s commitment to investing in education as a cornerstone of community development,” a statement from the Eredo LCDA chairman’s office said.
“It is expected that this initiative will have a lasting impact on the educational opportunities available to the pupils and serve as an inspiration for similar endeavors in the future.
“As the community rejoices in this educational milestone, the hope is that the newly inaugurated classrooms will not only facilitate learning but also pave the way for a brighter and more prosperous future for the pupils of UPE Primary School.”
