The Eredo Local Council Development Area (LCDA) has reaffirmed its commitment to social welfare with the successful disbursement of the June edition of the Renewed Hope Monthly Cash Support Programme to widows and elderly residents across the council.

Ismail Monsuru Akinloye, provided monthly financial assistance to 350 beneficiaries, as part of the administration’s ongoing efforts to support vulnerable members of the community and improve their standard of living.
Speaking during the presentation, the Executive Chairman, represented by the Vice Chairman, Hon. Lateef Adesanya, said the programme reflects the council’s dedication to compassionate leadership and inclusive governance.
“Our administration remains committed to implementing people-oriented programmes that provide relief, restore hope and improve the welfare of our widows and senior citizens. We will continue to strengthen this initiative to reach more deserving residents,” he said.
He noted that the Renewed Hope Monthly Cash Support Programme has become a vital social intervention aimed at cushioning the effects of economic hardship while ensuring that vulnerable residents continue to receive the care and support they deserve.
Beneficiaries expressed appreciation to the Eredo LCDA administration for the monthly financial assistance, describing the initiative as timely and impactful.
“This support has continued to ease our burden and give us hope. We are grateful to Hon. Ismail Monsuru Akinloye for remembering widows and the elderly in the community,” one of the beneficiaries said.
