Ekohotblog reports that the Eredo Local Council Development Area (LCDA) recently held a community meeting to gather input for the 2025 budget.
The meeting, led by the Executive Chairman, Hon. Monsuru Akinloye, provided residents an opportunity to share their thoughts and suggest improvements for the community.
In his address, Hon. Akinloye highlighted the progress made by his administration in key areas such as roads, education, healthcare, and support for small businesses.
“Our commitment is to make life better for everyone in Eredo, and we’ve already made great progress in many areas,” he stated.
Residents expressed their appreciation for the strides made so far and offered suggestions for further development, including better waste management, increased opportunities for young people, and improved electricity in rural areas.
A community leader commended the council’s approach, saying, “It’s great to have a government that listens to us. We’ve seen positive changes, and we’re hopeful that more is coming.”
Hon. Akinloye assured attendees that their contributions would guide the 2025 budget planning process.
“This meeting demonstrates our seriousness about listening to the people. Your ideas will help us plan for the future, and I promise you, we will continue to bring development to Eredo,” he affirmed.
