Eredo LCDA Renovates St. Joseph RCM Primary School, Ibonwon
Ekohotblog reports that the Eredo Local Council Development Area (LCDA) has embarked on a complete renovation of St. Joseph RCM Primary School, Ibonwon.
The project also includes the construction of a new Home Economics Laboratory to equip students with hands-on skills for the future.
This initiative is part of the LCDA’s commitment to improving education and creating better learning environments for children in Eredo LCDA.
It aligns with the Lagos State Government’s THEME Agenda, which emphasizes raising educational standards across the state.
Hon. Monsuru Akinloye, the Executive Chairman of Eredo LCDA, expressed his enthusiasm for the project.
“Education is key to progress. By upgrading this school, we are helping our children learn better and gain practical skills that will prepare them for the future,” he said.
The renovation work includes:
Repairs and improvements to classrooms and other school buildings.
New furniture and fittings to enhance learning comfort.
Modern equipment for the new Home Economics Laboratory.
Teachers and parents have expressed their joy over the improvements. A teacher at the school remarked, “These changes are amazing. The new facilities will make learning easier and more fun for our students.”
Hon. Akinloye thanked everyone who supported the project, including teachers, parents, and community members.
“Together, we are building a better future for our children and ensuring no child is left behind,” he added.
