Erik ten Hag Eyes Mohammed Kudus For Manchester United

  • Manchester United look to move on from the 7-0 humiliation from arch rivals, Liverpool as a new signing in the summer has been identified.

  • According to reports, the Red Devils have switched sights on Mohammed Kudus in the Summer transfer window.

  • Erik ten Hag is said to be keen on the signing as he hopes to boost his forward options.

EKO HOT BLOG reports that Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag is reportedly interested in signing Ajax player Mohammed Kudus during the upcoming summer transfer window. Ten Hag has reportedly added Kudus to his list of transfer targets as he aims to continue to strengthen the squad at Old Trafford.

According to talkSPORT, Ten Hag is keen to bring yet another one of his former players to Manchester United, following his previous signings of Antony and Lisandro Martinez from Ajax last summer.

The Dutchman is reportedly aiming to win more silverware for the Red Devils, who recently lifted the Carabao Cup trophy.

Kudus caught Ten Hag’s attention following his impressive 2022 FIFA World Cup campaign for the Black Stars of Ghana. The 22-year-old joined Ajax back in 2020 and made 43 appearances under Ten Hag’s management before the Dutchman left for Old Trafford last summer.

Kudus is a versatile player who can play as a centre forward, in an attacking midfield position, or on the right of a front three. He could potentially add valuable depth to Manchester United’s attacking options.

However, Kudus is not the only player that Manchester United has reportedly stepped up their interest in since their humiliating 7-0 defeat to Liverpool in the Premier League last Sunday.

It remains to be seen which players will ultimately end up joining the Red Devils during the upcoming transfer window.
