EKO HOT BLOG reports that Manchester United manager, Erik ten Hag, has told striker Marcus Rashford to improve his focus on scoring goals for the Red Devils.
Rashford has netted four goals in four matches for Man United since the domestic leagues in England restarted following the conclusion of the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.
The England international has scored against the likes of Nottingham Forest, Wolves, Bournemouth and Burnley.
Speaking ahead of Man United’s FA Cup third-round tie with Everton on Friday, Ten Hag feels Rashford can get even better if he follows his advice.
“First of all, keep the focus always and it doesn’t matter if you are in the game or not in the game, keep focusing on scoring the goal,” Ten Hag said of Rashford at his pre-match press conference on Thursday.
“A player like Marcus but others in our squad – Anthony Martial is the same – when they stay in the game, mentally, focused, 100 percent concentration, they have the skills and only need one moment to change the game in a positive way.
“If he develops that skill, he will score more goals and contribute to a successful season.”
