Euro 2024: Spain Edges Out England To Clinch Historic Fourth Title

Spain has emerged victorious in Euro 2024, following a hard-fought 2-1 win against the Three Lions of England in the final held on Sunday in Berlin.

Eko Hot Blog reports that Sunday’s victory makes Spain the only team to have won the coveted European championship four times.

Nico Williams, one of La Roja’s standout players in the tournament, score the opening goal early in the second half with a smart finish into the bottom corner, assisted by a perfectly-weighted pass from 17-year-old Lamine Yamal.

However, England equalized midway through the second half with a brilliant left-footed strike from Cole Palmer from outside the box to level the score at the Olympiastadion in Berlin.

With less than five minutes left in regulation time, Spain secured the win when Mikel Oyarzabal tapped in an inch-perfect pass from Marc Cucurella to cap off of the victory.
