European Top Scorers Table: Haaland Overtakes Salah

Erling Haaland was active in the German Bundesliga on friday
He made an appearance for Borussia Dortmund in the derby fixture against Borussia Monchengladbach at the Borussia Park.
He scored a brace in the fixture but it wasn’t enough to help Borussia Dortmund secure a win as they lost 4-2 to Monchengladbach.

The hosts took an early lead in the 11th minute of the fixture as Nico Elvedi got on the scoresheet to make it 1-0 for his side.

Erling Haaland scored the equaliser in the 11th minute as he made use of a nice pass from Jadon Sancho to find the back of the back of net with an excellent lob shot to make it level at 1-1 in the 22nd minute.

He struck again in the 28th minute as he scored from close range to give Borussia Dortmund the 2-1 lead before Nico Elvedi scored in the 32nd minute to bring the scoreline to 2-2 at half time.

Ramy Bensebaini restored Monchengladbach’s lead at the start of the second half as he scored in the 49th minute to make it 3-2 for his side.

Marcus Thuram sealed the match win for Borussia Monchengladbach as he scored in the 78th minute to make it 4-2 at full time.
