‘Even If My Wife Shoots Me, I’m Not Leaving Her’ – Peter Obi

Labour Party’s 2023 presidential candidate, Peter Obi, has affirmed that he would never leave his wife, no matter her actions. Obi shared that he is committed to staying by her side as long as he lives.

Speaking on a recent episode of the Honest Bunch Podcast, co-hosted by actor Chinedu Ani Emmanuel, also known as Nedu, Obi explained that he would remain devoted to his wife even under extreme circumstances.

“No matter what my wife does, I won’t divorce her. I can’t separate from her. Even if she were to shoot me, as long as I’m alive, she’s my wife,” Obi said. He added that even if she were unfaithful, it wouldn’t change his commitment to her.

Obi emphasized that he doesn’t let his wife’s choices define him, saying, “Whatever she chooses to do, that’s her business. They would still see me as Peter Obi, the man who remained committed to his wife, regardless of her actions.”

He also highlighted that they have different lifestyles, which doesn’t affect their relationship. “Sometimes, when we travel together, she’s in business class, and I’m in economy. It suits her, and it’s no conflict to me,” he added.
