A former speaker of Lagos state house of assembly, Jokotola Pelumi has commiserated with the family of Braimoh over the death of their patriarch, Tunde Braimoh.
Braimoh, a member of the Lagos Assembly representing Kosofe, died in the early hours of Friday of COVID-19. The deceased was said to have preexisting health medical issues which were complicated by COVID-19.
In a message on Friday condoling with the deceased family, Jokotola described the passing away of Braimoh as a rude shock.
He said Braimoh was a force to be reckoned with in the party, adding that his priority has lawmaker was his consistency.
“The news of the demise of Hon. Tunde Braimoh came to me as a rude shock, and I’m yet to come to terms with it.
“Words fail me at this moment because this is one too many. Hon. Braimoh was a vibrant and loyal party member , who had a love of his constituency and party at heart. He will surely be missed by all.
He extended his condolences to the his family and constituents.
“I sincerely extend my heartfelt condolences to his wife, children, constituents, and party at large. May Allah grant his soul Aljanah fridaus”
