Ex-NFF President, Pinnick Confident Super Eagles Will Qualify for 2026 World Cup

Former Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) president, Amaju Pinnick, remains hopeful that the Super Eagles will secure qualification for the 2026 World Cup.

Currently in 5th place in Group C with three points from four matches, the Super Eagles are four points behind leaders Rwanda and second-place South Africa.

Speaking on Friday’s Sports Tonight on Channels Television, Pinnick reassured fans that the NFF is doing everything it can to support the team’s qualification efforts for the upcoming World Cup.

“I speak to the president [of the NFF] every other day and I know he is very religious about qualifying Nigeria for the World Cup. It is going to be a tough call.
