Ex-President, Obasanjo Opens Textile Company
Former Nigerian President, Olusegun Obasanjo has established his textile company, Heritage Apparels in Abeokuta, Ogun State.
The factory which is located in the premises of the Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library, was set up to raise awareness regarding local fabric (Adire) in Abeokuta and recognising its importance.

Obasanjo who is popular for his interest in the agricultural sector with his farm in Ota, the garment enterprise in collaboration with young Nigerian woman entrepreneur Abisade Adenubi based in the United Kingdom who had been producing apparel in Europe and Asia, according to reports.
She said plans are currently ongoing in the commencement of mass production of garments and apparels, including uniforms for security operatives, public sector officials and schools.
