EKO HOT BLOG reorts that a former Lagos State Commissioner for Civil Service Commission, Duke Olabode Gabardeen, on Sunday, July 31st, 2022, expressed heartfelt gratitude to his creator by treating himself and his guests to a dinner party to celebrate his 60th birthday.
Duke Gabardeen hosted family, friends, associates and acquaintances from all walks of life who were adorned in their resplendent royal blue and powder blue Aso Ebi attires at Pleasant Events Center, in Ikeja, Lagos.
This online media platform reports that Duke Gabardeen and his guests were super excited, jubilating and praising God while looking at the past decades of her life as he enters into a new one.
The diamond jubilee celebrations of the seasoned writer, Journalist, community development advocate and former Lagos State Commissioner for Civil Service Commission, were nothing short of commendation as it was indeed befitting.
The ecstatic expressions on the dak-skinned and baritone-voiced celebrant were difficult to hide as he ushered in almost everyone who honoured his glorious birth anniversary with his trademark smile and nuance.
More exciting was the electrifying music performance displayed by the legendary Alhaji Taiye Currency which got guests bursting into killer dance steps and movements on the dance floor.
It was gathered that one of the celebrant’s big brothers and former Lagos State House of Assembly Speaker Emeritus, Hon Sabit Adeyemi Ikuforiji did the toast of the cake cutting session.
Some of Lagos’ big wigs and socialites who graced the event include the First Lady of Lagos State, Dr Mrs Ibijoke Sanwo-Olu; the Alara of Ilara Kingdom, HRM Oba Dr Olufolarin Olukayode Ogunsanwo; former Lagos State House of Assembly Speaker, Hon Adeyemi Sabit Ikuforiji; Commissioner, Lagos State Civil Service Commission, Barrister Tunde Seriki; and Barrister Omodele Ibrahim.
Others are former Commissioner for Physical Planning, Architect Wasiu Anifowoshe; Alh Bola Odumosu, Chief Wale Mogaji, Hon Ahmed Seriki and a host of others.
