The late Alhaja Morifat Agunbiade has been described as a champion for the less privileged whose eighty eight years of existence was dedicated to advance the cause of humanity.
Otunba Bode Kashif Oyedele disclosed this while welcoming the first Lady of Lagos State Ibijoke Sanwo-Olu and the wife of the Deputy Governor, Oluremi Hamzat,to the Fidau prayer for the late Mrs Agunbiade who was laid to rest in her home town, Orimedu, in Epe area of Lagos State on Thursday, the 10th of September 2019.
Oyedele noted that the late Mrs Agunbiade, a devoted Muslim lived an exemplary life, dedicated to upholding and propagating the tenets of Islam;and her love and commitment for her community, could not be quantified.
He further said that the presence of her Excellency, First Lady of Lagos State and the wife of the Deputy Governor, despite the short notice, corroborated their uncommon love for the community.
The entire Orimedu community and the Agunbiades family however, extend their heartfelt appreciation to the First lady ,the wife of the Deputy Governor and other dignitaries at the event for their love and support.
In an exclusive interview with Ola Agunbiade, speaking on behalf of the family, he revealed that the final burial for the deceased would take place on 23rd of November at a venue to be announced at a later date.
He also described her late Mother as the pillar and the prayer warrior of the family who would be greatly missed.
The deceased,Alhaja Morifat Adeola Agunbiade, passed on at the age of Eighty Eight years and had since been buried according to Moslem rites.
She was survived by many Children,Grandchildren and Great Grand children.
