Eko Hot Blog reports that Alhaji Tajudeen Kayode Balogun, on Saturday, celebrated his 75th birthday in a joyous celebration of life and milestones.
The event held at the St. Michael Centenary Hall in Popo Oba, Epe, Lagos State.
It commenced with Alhaji Balogun dancing into the hall amidst music, accompanied by friends and family. A prayer followed, setting the tone for a day of celebration.
MC Kawojue took the stage, introducing special personalities present at the ceremony. Panegyrics extolling the virtues of the celebrant echoed through the hall, with celebrant’s son Olaide Balogun providing a brief description of his father Alhaji Balogun.
In a moment of gratitude, the celebrant offered a brief appreciation remark, expressing his joy and praying for all present. The atmosphere buzzed with excitement as a live band played music, setting the stage for the ceremonial cake cutting.
Speaking with Eko Hot Blog, Alhaji Balogun shared his happiness at reaching the milestone of 75 years.
“Thank you all for joining me on this momentous day. Celebrating 75 years is a blessing, and I’m filled with gratitude for your presence,” he said.
The celebrant expressed appreciation for his wife and children, acknowledging their love and support.
“I appreciate my family, friends, and the community for their support throughout the years. Your love has been my strength,” Alhaji Balogun.
He also acknowledged Otunba TJ Abass, the Publisher of Eko Hot Blog, whom he called his brother.
“I would also like to take a moment to appreciate Otunba TJ Abass, my brother for his unwavering support and friendship,” the celebrant said.
Alhaji Balogun extended his prayers to all the guests who came to celebrate with him.
Following the heartfelt remarks, the celebrant took to the dance floor, surrounded by family and friends who joyfully danced and showered him with money, adding a touch of festivity to the occasion.
The celebration continued as friends and family took turns to offer goodwill messages, congratulating Alhaji Balogun on reaching the diamond jubilee of his life.
Alhaji Balogun’s friend, Chief Muideen Shobaloju, the Sarumi of Epe land, also graced the occasion, and gave his goodwill message.
He disclosed the closeness of their friendship as members of the same club. He concluded by wishing him more fruitful years.
The day concluded on a high note, filled with joy, music, and expressions of love for the revered celebrant.
