Unidentified gunmen abducted a family of three on Saturday night in Owoyale Agbamu, along Oro-Agbamu Road in Ajase Ward 2, Irepodun Local Government Area of Kwara State.
The victims include Alhaji Moshood, his wife, and his brother, Alhaji Abdulkazeem Owoyale.

The attack, which occurred around 9 p.m., was widely shared on social media, with community members calling for urgent intervention. “This information needs adequate attention from all,” read a viral message circulating online.
As of Sunday evening, there had been no contact from the kidnappers.

Confirming the incident, Kwara State Commissioner of Police, Victor Olaiya, stated that security operatives, including vigilante and hunter groups, had launched a search operation.
“The police have swung into action, combing the forest to rescue the three victims unhurt and apprehend the criminals behind this act,” he said.
The police assured residents of continuous updates as efforts to rescue the victims intensify.
