Father Rapes, Impregnates 17-year-old Daughter
A 36-year-old man has confessed after impregnating his daughter.
The man recognized as Peter Moses confessed in front of an Ore Chief Magistrates’ Court that he raped and impregnated his daughter.
As gathered by EKO HOT BLOG, Moses confessed at the time he was charged with two counts with respect to illegal sex.
He allegedly committed the offence during November, 2020 and January 2021 at Asewele Korede camp via Ore in Odigbo Local Government Area of Ondo state.
The statement of charges reads as follows:
“That you Peter Moses, on the between November, 2020 and January 2021 at Asewele Korede camp via Ore in the Ore Magisterial District did have an illegal sexual relationship with a Peter Patience, aged 17 years and committed an offence contrary to that provision to section 31 sub-section (1) and punishable under section 31 sub-section (2) of Part 3 of Child’s Right Acts of Federal Republic of Nigeria 2003.

“That you Peter Moses, during the same period, time and place in the aforementioned magisterial district sexually assaulted your daughter as a result of having sexual relations with her and She became pregnant for four months, hereby committing an offence contrary to section 32 sub-section (2) and punishable under section 32 sub-section (2) of Part 3 of Child’s Right Acts of Federal Republic of Nigeria 2003.”
Police Prosecutor, Inspector Jimoh Amuda told the court that the police have taken appropriate steps to investigate the matter.
He requested an adjournment so that the police could carry out their investigations and request legal advice from the ministry of Justice.
However, the accused pleaded guilty on both counts but asked the court to leniently moderate justice.
Presiding Magistrate, F.O. Omofolarin, directed that he be remanded to the Correctional Centre while awaiting the outcome of the DPP legal advice and postponed the proceedings to February 21 for mentioning
