Ekiti State Governor, Kayode Fayemi, has reacted to a recent statement by the governor of Kogi State, Yahaya Bello suggesting that the COVID-19 vaccines are being introduced to kill the masses.
Bello had in a recent address said that the COVID-19 vaccines being produced under a year are used to introduce new diseases that will kill many.

In his response, Fayemi, who spoke on Channels Television’s Politics Today, appealed to his Kogi counterpart not to risk the lives of the citizens.
The NGF Chairman said that the Kogi Governor has a right to his opinion but the most appropriate way to respond to a matter of such importance is not to be dismissive.
According to Fayemi, majority of the Governors believes that COVID-19 is real and recognise the need to respond to the challenges that have emanated from the pandemic.
