EKO HOT BLOG reports that Ayo Fayose, the former governor of Ekiti State, has questioned what President Muhammadu Buhari has been up to in Aso Rock.
President Buhari, according to Fayose, is demonstrating the qualities of African presidents, who he describes as shameless, by refusing to resign.
Nigeria’s economic and security challenges during the last seven years, as well as the current security crisis in Kaduna and other North-West states, according to the former Governor, were sufficient reasons for the President to resign.
In an interview on Wednesday, the former Governor went on to call the current administration a scam, claiming that none of the promises made to the citizens was kept.
“If the PDP has malaria or a headache, this administration is cancer.
“Diesel was N100 during Jonathan’s government, but it is now N700.
“I’m at a loss for words.” I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. How many educational institutions have been closed down recently? Nothing seems to work.
Nigeria is currently on autopilot. After seven years, they should stop making excuses. My ex-wife still complains about the black spot in the kitchen that drove her to leave seven years ago.
“They claimed they could do it better, that the dollar would be one to one, but the dollar is currently N600 to $1.” It’s either we’re lying, we’re elites…we’re politicians, and we can come here and say nice things, but the man who suffers the brunt knows the truth.
Take a look at the current security scenario. I listened to General Muhammadu Buhari when he stated he is a general who will use his military skills to help the country. But where do we stand now?

“If I were Nigeria’s president, would quit for a variety of reasons. It’s just that in Africa, we don’t have shame. Presidents of Africa have no shame; they’ll sleep in their vomit.”
