Fayose to FG: Akure-Ado has become a death trap, repair it

Former Governor of Ekiti State, Mr Ayodele Fayose, has regreted the state of the Akure–Ado Ekiti Road, claiming the interstate roadway has transformed to a death trap.

Fayose, that got in touch with the Federal Government to deal with the roadway connecting Akure, the Ondo State resources, with its Ekiti State equivalent, Ado Ekiti, claimed,“The road is now in such a deplorable state that motorists now avoid it”

A statement by the media assistant to the guv, Lere Olayinka, offered to reporters in Ado Ekiti on Tuesday, specified that the previous guv made the phone call at the Akure Airport onSunday

He was estimated as claiming, “The roadway has become a source of serious challenge for Nigerians, specifically the people of Ekiti State that are the significant individuals of the roadway.

“The road is too important to the economies of Ondo and Ekiti States as well as the well-being of the people of the states to be neglected completely by the Federal Government.”

The previous guv contacted the Minister of Works, Babatunde Fashola, to utilize his excellent workplaces to guarantee that the roadway obtained the needed interest, keeping in mind that “In the last one year, the roadway has become so negative for usage.
